Hello!

My name is Jenny Reeves and I began my teaching career in the Brookline Public Schools after graduating from Providence College.  I later returned to western Massachusetts to earn my Master's in Education as a reading specialist and spent ten years working as a fourth grade teacher and literacy coach in the Springfield Public Schools.

In 2021, I joined the Center School Community on the fourth grade team, returning to my roots as a classroom teacher in the town I grew up in.  Longmeadow provided me with lifelong friends, teachers who nurtured my natural curiosity for learning, and coaches who shaped the way I work with children.  Coming full circle, it is with deep gratitude that I now have the opportunity to give back to this wonderful community.

Two of my favorite things about teaching are helping children truly believe in their ability to learn anything, and watching their confidence develop as they tackle challenges.

Writing, practicing mindfulness and movement (especially yoga and running!) are daily practices I enjoy.  In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family, playing cards and other games, reading both for fun and to learn, going on walks with Mr. Reeves and our dog, Rollins, and traveling to explore new places.

I look forward to a wonderful year ahead!
